Plan it
Drop in a GPX and see the route, the climb and the weather day by day — freezing level included. Pin a note to the spot on the map where the decision gets made.
Pack it
Your gear lives in the Locker, weighed once. Build a pack from it and watch base, consumables and worn weight settle. Food is sized to the days you’ll be out.
Walk it
Follow your route on Wildra’s own map, with a word before each turn and another if you leave the line. Daylight left, how far to go, and the way back when you want it. The maps come with you, so none of it needs a signal.
Come home
Your track draws itself onto the map — where you actually went, with the climb measured by the barometer rather than read off a file. Nights out, high point, photos from the days you were away. Then it’s kept.
Fly it
A walk with a route doesn’t have to sit in a table. It flies — the camera down at walking height over real terrain, your photographs arriving as the walk reaches them. Nothing is smoothed into a better shape and no missing day is filled in: a replay, not a trailer.
And it works before you go, on a route you haven’t walked yet — the same ground, while there’s still time to change your mind.
On your wrist
Distance, climb, daylight and the next turn, without taking the phone out of your pack. The watch draws the piece of route you’re standing in, and taps you when a turn is coming or when you’ve wandered off the line. You can start a walk from it, and say you’re home from it.
Or just start walking
No route, no plan, no name — press record and go. Wildra keeps the line, the climb and the time, and asks at the end whether you want to keep it as a walk. Nothing is filed until you say so.
Going together
Plan a walk with the people you’re walking with. Split who carries what, so nobody brings a second stove. Your Locker stays yours — what you paid for a tent never travels.
Your walks are yours
Wildra never moves your things. Your walks live on your phone, and in your own iCloud once you’re a member — never on a server of mine, and never anywhere I can read them. There’s nothing to sell. The only thing I ever hold is an email address you chose to give me.
You can send something yourself, if you want to: a pack list can be published for anybody with the link, and taken down again. That is the only part of Wildra that ever leaves your own iCloud, and it only happens when you press the button.

Wildra is free to use, one walk at a time. Membership keeps your walks in your own iCloud and lifts the limit: A$39.99 a year, or A$24.99 for founding members, for as long as you keep it — open until 31 October 2027, so there’s no rush to be first.
